Mr Stigler, a native of Northside, operated a cafe and grocery at 4122 Kirby Road, a grocery at 4124 Kirby Road and a bowling alley at 4126 Kirby Road. He was also in the contracting business. He built several brick streets for the city Cincinnati. He retired three years ago.
He was a member of St. Boniface Men's Society, a director of St Aloysius Orphanage and a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Bertke, Mrs. Hilda Scheidler and Johanna Stigler, and two sons, Edward and Joseph Stigler. Requiem High Mass will be intoned at 8:30 am Thursday at St. Boniface Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
