MRS ELIZABETH ASNER
Mrs. Elizabeth Asner, 82, of 8112 Juniper, Prairie Village,
died yesterday in Carbondale, Ill., while visiting a daughter,
Mrs. Esther Edelman. Mrs. Asner was born in Odessa, Russia,
and lived in Kansas City since coming to the United States in
1912. She was a member of the Congregation Ohev Sholom, the
Home for Jewish Aged auxiliary the Beth Horan chapter of the
B'nai B'rith, and the Hadassah. Also surviving are three sons.
Ben Asner, 5000 Mission, Roeland Park, Labe Asner of the home,
and Edward Asner, Studio City, Calif; another daughter, Miss
Eva Asner, Philadelphia, and five sisters, Mrs. Bella Yaffe, 4724
Belleview; Mrs. Anna Goodman, 8126 Troost; Mrs. Bertha Schwartz,
Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Rose Evin and Mrs. Rachel Rabinowitz,
both of Los Angeles.
