Henry Harpring

Henry H. Harpring, 76, retired factory worker, died at 5:10 a.m. today in his home, 517 West Eighth.
A native of Hamburg, Decatur County, he was employed for many years in the old Park Furniture Company plant here.
He was born June 5, 1882, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Harpring, and was married November 22, 1906 to Lena Kiehn, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Virgil VanSickle of Rushville and Mrs. Sabert Pierce of Newport, R.I., and a son, Edgar Harpring of Rushville. Eleven brothers and sisters preceded Mr. Harpring in death.
Ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also are among survivors.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Todd Funeral Home with burial in East Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at noon Sunday.
