He was born Sept 22, 1930 in Belle Fourche, S.D. to John Francis and Violet (Kvanvig) Graika.
During his life he resided in South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconson, California, Alaska and Kansas
In 1963 he moved to Alaska from South Dakota with his first wife and their three sons, while there their fourth son, Scott was born. In 1993 he moved to Kansas with his second wife Lisa where he resided until his death.
He joined the Army in 1948 where he received his high school diploma while serving.
In 1955 he married Joan P Jordan they were later divorced and on Oct 16, 1981 he married Lisa Rose she survives.
Other survivors include sons Don and wife Gwynn, Gary and companion Maria, Scott and wife Patricia Brothers, David and wife Ruth, Paul and wife Lucille and Joe and wife Kang, Sister Darlene Fuqua and daughter-in-law Pam Graika, his ex-wife Joan Jones nine grandchildren
