Services for Floyd E Givens 58 Independence, Will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn South Chapel, Springfield, with the Rev Charles Hufft officiating.
Burial with military rites will follow in Springfield National Cemetery.
Mr Givens died at 11:15 am Tuesday in the Veterans Administration Hospital Kansas City after a short illness.
A former resident of Chadwick and Springfield, he was the manager of Raytown Electrolux.
He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Springfield and a Marine Corp veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife Wanda, a son Danny, Talladega, Ala., three daughters, Mrs Judy Conger Springfield Mrs Peggy Charlesworth Independence and Miss Elaine Givens Kansas City, Kan., three sisters, Mrs Imogene Pearson Galt, Calif., Mrs Carol Ann Hacker, Topeka, Kan., and Mrs Georgia Bledsoe Independence, four brothers,Jack, Earl Dean and Bobby all of Springfield and Charles, Kansas City, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
