Agnes Haberberger, 87, Washington, died Monday, December 10, 2001, at Grandview Healthcare Center,
Washington.She was born December 17, 1913, at Villa Ridge, the daughter of Frank F. Straatmann and wife Mary, nee Patke.
On April 27, 1938, she was united in marriage to Lawrence H. Haberberger at St. John's Gildehaus Church, Villa
Ridge.
Mrs. Haberberger was a member of St. Bernadette's Ladies Sodality.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Haberberger, January 1, 1996; one son, Wayne
Anthony Haberberger; one son-in-law, Lambert Holtmeyer; and three brothers, Alex Straatmann, Raymond Straatmann
and Herbert Straatmann.
She is survived by five sons, Kenneth Haberberger and wife Betty, Larry Haberberger and wife Kathy, and Garry
Haberberger and wife Jane, all of Washington, Maurice Haberberger, and Kevin Haberberger and wife Beverly, all of
St. Louis; five daughters, Sister Laurette (Beverly) Haberberger, S.S.N.D., and Norma Jean Hill and husband Roger, all of St. Louis, Audrey "Butch" Holtmeyer, Washington, Marlene Mitchell, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Kathleen Reed,St. Clair; two sisters, Adele Renfert and husband Vic, Washington, and Hilda Helfrich, Washington; 17 grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Haberberger were held Thursday, December 13, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Washington,
with Father Robert Heimos officiating.
Interment was in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, Washington.
Memorials to the Our Lady of Lourdes Building Fund or Masses are preferred.
The Haberberger family was served by Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
