Jacob J. Sirek
Jacob J. Sirek, 71 years old, died at his home in Oak Grove township Monday, January 14 from pneumonia. Mr. Sirek was born in New Prague, MN, 1863 and married Anna Vesely at Veseli, MN on Feb. 5, 1884. They lived in Grand Forks, ND for 18 years and since have lived most of the time in the county. Surviving are the widow and six sons, Joseph of Lonsdale, MN, Frank, William, Louis and Mike of Rice Lake and John of New Prague, MN. Two daughters preceded Mr. Sirek in death. The funeral will be held Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dobie, with interment in the church cemetery. Rice Lake [Wisconsin] Chronotype, January 16, 1935
