PERLATTI, MICHAEL L. June 11, 1953 to May 12, 2011 Mike, a native San Diegan, passed away in the early morning hours of May 12th in the loving hands of Hillcrest Hospice workers and in the hearts of all who knew him. Mike lived in the greater Point Loma area all his life, and graduated from Point Loma High, class of 1971. His entrepreneurial skills were evident his entire adult life, starting with his renowned home remodeling company, MLP Construction, and later the formation of MLP Plumbing Inc. of Palm Desert and finally as President and majority shareholder of Chubasco Sandals Inc., a leisure shoe company, with international sales. Mike was an exceptional athlete and an avid golfer. His greatest gift, however, was his brilliant sense of humor, which will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of twenty-four years, Arlene, his mother, Patricia, sisters Victoria, Sharyl and Deborah, brother Max, nieces Jessica and Kelly, nephew Craig, great-nephews Jack and Luke and great-niece Charlotte. In his memory, his family requests donations to: San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave. San Diego, CA 92103-1047. "Now we give Mike to the loved ones we have lost in the past and to God. He will be thought of every day, missed every day, and loved every day." God Bless... Your Family.
