Mary K. Metz, 88, of Cheyenne died Feb. 11 at United Medical Center-West.
She was born April 6, 1910, in Berthoud, Colo., and had lived here since 1927.
She worked at Western Ranchman Outfitters and was a cook at the Wyoming Hereford Ranch.
Metz was a member of Eagles Lodge 128.
She is survived by two daughters, Helen Humphrey of Fruita, Colo., and Terry Nelson of Cheyenne; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Metz on Jan. 8, 1998; a daughter, Audrey Fish; her parents, David and Katherine Dreith; and 13 brothers and sisters.
