Robert was a graduate of the Ohio Soldiers and Sailors Orphanage in Xenia, OH and was a veteran of WW II serving with the 189th Army Signal Company in the Normandy campaign of 1944. He was an avid tennis player, competing in the Bluegrass State Games at age 72, and learning to water ski at age 75.
A devoted father and grandfather, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Rainey Jordan Muldrow
After a private service, he will be buried at Calvary Cemetery, Lexington, KY. The family requests that memorials be directed to "Critters Without Litters" Spay/Neuter Clinic, 165 Eminence Ave, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
