William Thomas (W.T.) Cassel, Russellville, Ala., passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at his home.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Brother Curtis Taylor and Brother Billy Jackson. Interment will be in Tharptown Friendship Holiness Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sallie Cassel; sons, Roger (Jean) Cassel, Dennis (Teresa) Cassel, Vanzell (Janice) Cassel; daughters, Jean (Henry) Green, Sondra Garrett (Neal Fuller); stepdaughter, Janell (Tim) Potts; stepson, Talton (Mary) Miller. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jeri Cassel, Charles Cassel, Denise (Jimmy) Willingham, Matthew Green, Caitlin Green, Cody Garrett, Kristal Jeffreys and Miranda Nipper; great-grandchildren, Justin Britnell, Braydyn Jeffreys, Bailey Nipper and Savannah Nipper; and sister, Evelyn (Lonny) Bassham.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Cassel,and granddaughter, Megan Garrett.
