DAVENPORT - Services for Marion E. Bruning, 74, of 2306 Telegraph Road, will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 3-8:30 p.m. today.
Mrs. Bruning died Monday at Mercy Hospital.
She retired in 1970 after 25 years at Rock Island Arsenal. She was employed as an inspector in the small arms department and later worked in the inspection office.
Marion Hennings married Carl Bruning in 1940 in Dubuque, Iowa.
She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport, and the Caldron.
She was an active bowler and bingo player.
Memorials may be made to Davenport Elks Handicapped Children's Fund.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Susan (Mrs. Raymond) Shubat, Davenport; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Carma Burke, Davenport; and a brother, Kenneth "Buck" Hennings, Davenport.
A sister, Mildred Klein, died in May 1991, and a great-granddaughter, Melissa Adair, in November 1991.
