Frank Thoene Succumbs to Stroke Received at His Brother's Funeral.

The stroke of paralysis which Frank Thoene of Buffalo received while Standing beside the casket at the funeral of his brother, Anton Thoene, proved fatal Wednesday.
Anton Thoene, the brother, died Oct. 5, also from paralysis. His funeral was held Oct, 8 at his home In Blue Grass. While standing beside the body of his brother and taking a Inst look at his face, Frank was stricken. He lingered until Wednesday noon when life passed away.
Mr. Thoene is an old German pioneer farmer of Scott county. Ho was born in Cahnsteln, Wcstphalen, Germany, in 1838. For 40 years he has been a resident of this county. He farmed near Buffalo until four years ago when he retired and moved to Buffalo. His first wife died 20 years ago. Kathcrlne Thoene, his second wife, survives him.
There also are several children surviving: Frank, Henry, Julius and Fred Thoene, Mrs. Minnie Boenek, Mrs. Anna Drumm. Miss Anna Thoene, and a number of grandchildren.
