Funeral services for Mrs. Phillip Mohr, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. F. Whitehead, Wednesday, May 4, 1932, were conducted by the Rev. P D. Aldershof, pastor of the Malcom M. E. church at the Whitehead home Saturday afternoon. After this service the body was taken to Victor where the services were held in the M.E. church and conducted by Rev. H. W. Emmitt, pastor of the Immanuel Church and the Rev. H. O. McBride pastor of the Victor M.E. church. Burial was made in the Victor Cemetery.

Mrs. Mohr had come to this country when she was twelve years old. Her family settled in Sandwich, IL, where she joined the German M. E. church of which she was a member till the time of her death. When nineteen years old, she married Phillip Mohr at Cedar Rapids and then they settled at Victor, where they made their home for more than half a century. Mr. Mohr died Dec. 25, 1918. Mrs. Mohr was 81 years old at the time of her death. Two children preceded her in death.

She is survived by eight children: Mrs. Emma Carl of Des Moines; Frank Mohr, Victor; Mrs. Anna Carl, Victor; Vincent Mohr, Victor; John Mohr, Victor; Oliver Mohr, Webster City; Cleveland Mohr, Deep River; and Mrs. L. F. Whitehead, Malcom with whom she made her home for the last seven years.
