Mrs. Wilhelmina Sprague 49, of State Road, Roxbury, died Oct. 8, 1988 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.
Mrs. Sprague was born July 26, 1939, in Mineola, the daughter of William and Elsa (Doebele) Simmen. She was
married to Victor Sprague on April 13, 1963.
A 1956 graduate of Onteora Central School in Boiceville, she had been a Roxbury resident for the past 20 years
and previously lived in Pine Hill. For the past 10 years she had been a bus driver for the Roxbury Central School.
Mrs. Sprague is survived by her husband; two daughters, Kathy Johnson and Vicki Sprague, both of Massachusetts;
one son, Bill Sprague of Roxbury; three stepchildren, Victor Sprague, Russell Sprague and Barbara Sprague,
all of Massachusetts; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Frieda Sprague of Merrick and Mrs. Rose George of
Lake Hiawatha, NJ.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Roxbury Fire Department Ambulance Fund.
Arrangements were by the Miller Funeral Home in Roxbury.
