Born September 1850 she is the daughter of Lawrence and Genevieve [Leham] Schall. Josephine died in 1910, a few short years after the family moved to Saskatchewan and she is buried in Lake Lenore. Wendelin and Josephine had 10 children, one adopted daughter, and 36 grandchildren. Their descendants live in various areas of the United States and Canada, including Saskatchewan, Michigan, Minnesota, and Colorado.

According to our Anstett Book Edition #4 Josephine was born in 1850. at first the Find-A-Grave compiled by Susan Watson had her as follows: Born Sep., 1848 Ontario, Canada and died February 10, 1910 in Saskatchewan, Canada
