DIES IN TRACTOR MISHAP

A tractor accident last night claimed the life of three-year-old Daniel (Danny) Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson Jr., 6595 Beechwood Ave., NE.

The child was riding on the rear seat of a tractor driven by his brother Larry, 15, on the family property, when the mishap occurred about 6:30 p.m. The tractor hit a bump, throwing the child uner a rear wheel.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at 7 p.m. at City Hospital.

MOVING WAGONS

The boys were moving two wagons from one barn to another at the home of the accident.

Born in Alliance, July 26, 1958. Danny was a member of the Sunday School at the Beechwood Evaneglical United Brethren Church.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Larry and Joe, and two sisters, Faith and Becky, all of the home; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnsn Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sutton, all of Alliance.

The Rev. Miles Strine will conduct private graveside services Monday at Fairmount Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Walton-Schader Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. tomorrow.
