Mrs. Selma Sophie Benkendorfer, 75, of Route 2, West, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday at the family home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter’s Evangelical Reformed Church, West, Rev. Robert Mohr officiating, burial in Closner Cemetery.
Survivors: Her husband, William Benkendorfer; two sons, Edwin Benkendorfer of West and A. F. Benkendorfer of Waco; three daughters, Mrs. J. L. Fowler of Kingsville, Mrs. H. S. Janke of Leroy and Mrs. H. C. Meyer of Waco; three brothers, Louis Luco and Henry Luco of Wharton, and Fritz Luco of Yoakum; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Donald Benkendorfer, Arthur Benkendorfer Jr., Edwin Benkendorfer Jr., J. L. Fowler Jr., Toy E. Fowler and Hugo Gorgas.
