Homan, Madonna M., age 68, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Madonna was born December 28, 1942 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Benjamin & Mildred (Voisard) Moorman. She was a graduate of Piqua Catholic High School and was a long time member of St. Albert the Great Church. She was employed at the Dayton Daily News and dedicated her life to her family, church, and volunteering with numerous organizations including: Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and the Knights of Columbus. Madonna is survived by her husband of over 44 years: Donald; sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis (Leslie) Homan, John (Ginger) Homan, Matt Homan; daughter: Angie Homan; granddaughter: Amber Homan and one on the way; sister: Marlene (Tom) Gilmore; and numerous other family members and friends. Along with her parents, Madonna was preceded in death by her sister: Mary Ann Stopczynski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Albert the Great Church in Kettering. Interment will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering and on Saturday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass AT CHURCH.
