Doris Thompson died on Sunday, January 18, 1970 at her residence, 1408 28th Street Northwest. Survivors included her mother, Mrs. George Wagner; her sister, Mrs. Martin Wiegand; one son and one granddaughter, all of Washington, D.C. Contributions to the Children Hearing and Speech Center of The Holy Cross Episcopal Building Fund in Bethesda, Maryland were requested instead of flowers. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, January 20.
