FUNK SERVICES ARE HELD TODAY
L. G. FUNK WAS RESIDENT OF AGENCY VICINITY FOR 33 YEARS
Funeral services for Lambert Grant Funk, 69 years old, who died at the home of his son, George Funk on Agency Route 1, early Saturday afternoon, were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Agency Methodist Episcopal church, conducted by the Re. J. C. Behrens of Moravia. Burial was to be in the Agency cemetery.
Mr. Funk had been ill since April 15. He was a patient at the Ottumwa hospital here for a time before being taken recently to his home near Agency.
He was born at Kirkville, May 8, 1864, and for the past thirty-three years had been a resident of Agency and vicinity. He was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Ottumwa.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Florence Funk; his son, George; one daughter Mrs. Lola Anderson of Agency and three grandchildren, Virginia Funk and Jimmie and Bobbie Anderson. One daughter preceded him in death.
The body was removed to the Daggett funeral chapel here. Pallbearers were R. W. Linn, Thomas Rissler, Charles Scranton, Cleo Haines, John Coleman and John Fink; honorary pallbearers, E. E. Cash, J. F. Flynn, Ed Giltner, John Davidson, Fred Nitz and L. W. Watts.
