(Holt) McCawley (1809-1881) south of her father USMC Cptn. James McCawley Jr {1797-1839} and her sister Emma Virginia McCawley {1834-1844}. The stone next south from Susquehanna Rd. is that of her older brother, the 8th USMC Commandant Charles Grymes McCawley (1827-1891). The stone next-north from father and sister Emma V. is that of McCawley cousin and widow Clara Blackburne Todd (1836-1899) and Civil War victim Lt. Gideon T. Todd McCawley. Aunts Clara and Eliza both married sequentially William Blackburn Sr. and the two ladies are buried nearby. Their deaths were in 1839 & 1874.
