The Macon County, Tenn. native was a retired employee of Ross Gear, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Scottsville First General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Thomas Stone Blankenship and Allie Lee JENT Blankenship. He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Hickory Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
