ERNEST VYBIRAL, SR.

Mr. Ernest Vybiral, Sr., 75, of Abbott died Wednesday, July 31, at his
residence. He was born April 4, 1927 in Abbott and had lived in that area
all of his life. A retired farmer and an Army veteran of the Korean War, he
was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4819 of West, SPJST Lodge #66
of Elm Mott and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of Abbott. He
married Dorothy Ondrej October 16, 1948 in Penelope, and she preceded him in
death February 28, 1988. Survivors include: three sons, Ernest Vybiral, Jr.
and wife, Carolyn, Anthony Vybiral and Gregory Vybiral, all of Abbott; one
daughter, Ann Boman and husband, Dennis, of Abbott; two brothers, Rudy
Vybiral of West and Raymond Vybiral of Abbott; five grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 2, at
Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated
at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 3, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church
in Abbott with Rev. Ron Scheible, OSA, as celebrant. Burial was at Fatima
Cemetery in Abbott. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or
charity of one's choice.
