She married Louis L Barfuss on October 18, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple.
She served a mission to Mexico, was a genealogist, served in all the womens organizations in the church, was in the ward choir and served a stake mission at the Indian Ward. She was a member of DUP and had been a nurses aide in the Brigham area.
Surviving are her husband of Brigham, five children; Andrew Scott Barfuss of Brigham; Alean Louise Barfuss of Helper; Ladene Barfuss Gibby of St. Louis MO; Louis Joseph Barfuss of Logan; Bonnie Ruth Barfuss Jones of LaBarge, WY; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and three sisters; Moroni Delbert Johnson of Plain City; Mary Jane Waters of Rigby, ID; Mable Lu Johnson of Richfield; Ruth J. Horsley of Brigham; three step brothers, two step-sisters and Marily Cude, a niece she was raised with.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Brigham City 2nd Ward.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
