Gerald Wayne Grimmer, Jr., a resident and native of Baton Rouge, died Friday, March 20, 2009, in Quincy, Fla. He was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, with a bachelor's degree in finance and also had a special interest in computers. He was 38 and a U.S. Navy veteran, with the rank of ensign.
Visiting at Niland's Funeral Home, Livonia, until religious service, conducted by Daniel McCulloch. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery.
Survived by his mother, Carol Russo and her friend, Donald McCulloch, Baton Rouge; father, Gerald Wayne Grimmer Sr., Livonia; sister and brother-in-law, Stacie and Tommy Heflin, Prairieville; niece, Peyton Heflin, Prairieville; nephew, Brice Heflin, Prairieville; and maternal grandmother, Winona Forty, Maringouin.
