Francis Ann Dean Surber Hayden, age 62 , passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2005 in the Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, after a long battle with cancer. She was a daughter of the late James H. And Bradley Dean.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her only child; Kimberly Surber, her ex-husband; Harry Surber, the father of Kim and William Hayden and one brother; Paul "Buddy" Dean. Frances was a loving and kind person and enjoyed working at Marley Mouldings with some of her best friends.
Survivors Include: Two Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: William Dean & wife Cosby, Newport News, VA James R. "Jim" Dean & wife Sue, Sessor, IL Three Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Betty Dean Haga & husband Bill, Chilhowie Mary Dean Carrico & husband J.W. , Marion Katherine "Sis" Dean Lamie & Daughter Judy, Chilhowie One Uncle: Robert Billing, Rock Falls, IL One Aunt: Eula George, Rock Falls, IL Father-in-Law: Stanley Surber & Family, Saltville, VA.
Funeral services will be at the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie with Pastor Bobby Dunn of the First Church of God in Chilhowie officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Saltville. Bradley's Funeral Chapel, Chilhowie is serving the Hayden family.
