Steven Patrick Appelhans, 54, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colo.
He was born June 8, 1957, in Lakin, to J.J. and Earlene L. McMenomy Appelhans.
Appelhans was a carpenter in the construction business in Greeley.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Appelhans is survived by his mother, of Garden City; two brothers, Julius Appelhans of Garden City and John Appelhans of Greeley,; and his sister, Kathie Maestas of Garden City.
A memorial mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City. A burial will be held at Valley View Cemetery.
