Funeral will be at the Little Chapel of the Chimes at 3 p.m. Monday. Mr. Hohnstein came to Portland in 1924, where he was a car repairman for Union Pacific Railroad until he retired in 1945.
Survivors include five sons, Conrad, John, Peter, George, and William; four daughters, Mollie Hohnstein and Ann Rowe, both of Portland, Katherine Cedarquist, Beaverton, and Bertha Rogers, Hermiston; and 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
