Joan Weaver, 77, the daughter of Henry and Laura Hoss Tedder, was born Aug. 29, 1928 in Fairfax, OK and died Feb. 13, 2006 at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, OK. Mrs. Weaver was united in marriage to Elmer H. Weaver Feb. 19, 1971 in Claremore, OK. Mrs. Weaver was employed as the District Court Reporter for Rogers, Mayes, and Craig Countys until her retirement in 1986.

Mrs. Weaver was a member of First Baptist Church in Afton, OK. She enjoyed painting and in her earlier years horseback riding.

Survivors include her husband Dick Weaver, two sons, Trey Hamilton of Claremore, OK and Clay Hamilton of Oliver Springs, TN. A daughter, Deb Pearson of Victoria, TX. There are four grandchildren, Shelly Battenfield, Jason Hamilton, Wes Dannels and Tash Dannels and 10 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Bill Tedder of Green Forest, AR. and Dwayne Tedder of Huntington Beach, CA.

Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, 1:00 p.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Wilder officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home from 6 to 7 pm on Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, 711 S. Main, Grove, Oklahoma 74344.

AFTON, OK —

E.H. (Dick) Weaver, a former foreman for B.F. Goodrich, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fist Baptist Church, Afton. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.


Elmer Henry "Dick" Weaver

Mr. Weaver, 84 years old of Afton, Oklahoma passed suddenly from this earthly life into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father at his home on July 10, 2011.

Mr. Weaver was born March 21, 1927 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to Zachery Weaver and Anna Verda Harper.

He was a foreman at BF Goodrich Plant in Miami, OK for over 35 years until it closed. As a young man, he spoke at youth rallies and played AAA baseball. Dick loved to train dogs especially German Shepherds.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Afton, OK.

He was united in marriage to Joan L. Tedder on February 19, 1971 in Claremore, OK. She proceeded him in death on February 13, 2006.

Survivors include a daughter, Deb Pearson of Victoria, TX.

Two step-sons Clay Hamilton of Oliver Springs, TN. and Trey Hamilton of Claremore, OK.

The body has been taken to Tulsa, Oklahoma for cremation.

Private services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church 209 S. Walnut St. in Afton, Oklahoma. Flowers may be sent directly to the church.
