Services For Quentin Bach, At Waldorf
Quentin C. Bach, 74, rural Minnesota Lake died Wednesday, July 3, at his home in rural Minnesota Lake, following a lengthy illness with cancer.
A son of Frank H. Bach and his wife, Agnes Kozitza, he was born March 8, 1911 in Danville Township, Blue Earth County.
On February 27, 1935, he married Martha Sonnek at Minnesota Lake.
A farmer, he was a lifetime resident of the Minnesota Lake and Waldorf area. Since 1941, he had farmed in Freedom Township. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waldorf.
Survivors include his wife, Martha of Minnesota Lake; four daughters, Rosemary Bach of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Dan (Theresa) Bartholomew of Waller, Texas, Mrs. Cleve (Kathleen) Clinton of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Jim (Margaret "Peggy") Kirkpatrick of Waseca; a son and daughter-in-law, Bernard and Rosemary Bach of Minnesota Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Victoria Metzger of Minneapolis, Sister Theresa Mary O.P. of Rockford, Ill. And Mrs. James (Carmelita) Hathaway of Detroit, Mich.; and four brothers, Leo Bach of Long Beach, CA., Francis Bach and James G. Bach of Mapleton and Robert Bach of Minneapolis and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Rosemary Willette, Dorothy Emmons, and Sister Mary Bernard O.P.
Services were Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waldorf with Father Harold Gavin officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph's cemetery, Waldorf.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society are preferred by the family. Heitner Funeral Home, Minnesota Lake was in charge of arrangements.
