Funeral services for Miss Elizabeth Kitzman were held at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault on Nov. 26, with the Rev. Francis Pouliot, pastor of the church, officiating. The St. Lawrence Church Choir provided music during mass. Pallbearers were Richard Paquette, Frank Elfert, Emery Sam, Lawrence Kern, Alfred Sam and Lawrence Scott, all of Faribault. The parish vigil prayers were recited on Thursday evening at the Kohl Funeral Home, with the former pastor of the St. Lawrence Church and a longtime family friend, the Rev. F. L. Tschann, as leader of the service. Elizabeth Kitzman, the daughter of Peter and Mary Herman Kitzman, was born in Walcott Township on June 6, 1899. She attended school in Walcott Township and later was engaged in the operation of the family farm with her brothers and sisters. Miss Kitzman was a member of the St. Lawrence Church and the St. Lawrence Church Rosary Society for many years. Miss Kitzman passed away on Nov. 22, at her home in Walcott Township following a brief illness. She is survived by two sisters, Mary and Martha Kitzman, and a brother, John Kitzman, all of Walcott Township. and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Miss Pauline Kitzman, Miss Matilda Kitzman, and Mrs. Augusta Western; and one brother, Peter Kitzman.
