Andrew W. Perlinger, 85, Brainerd, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at the Woodhaven Nursing Home of Brainerd. He was born Nov. 23, 1913, in Lennox to John and Clara (DeRosier) Perlinger.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Perlinger, Brainerd, and Gary Perlinger, Waseca; five daughters, Margaret Lightner, Prescott, Ariz., Ann Namyst, Woodbury, Clara Perlinger, Minneapolis, Elaine Doucette, Winslow, Ariz., and Joan Thesing, Fort Ripley; 28 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gertrude Hughes, Fort Ripley, and Agatha "Pat" Plante, Milwaukee, Ore.
His wife, Mary Katherine, a daughter, Kathleen, a brother, Leon, a sister, Rose, two infant brothers and an infant sister died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mathias Catholic Church with the Rev. Dr. Paul Fruth officiating. Burial will be in St. Mathias Cemetery.
Friends may call at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home of Brainerd from 6-8 p.m. Friday, with parish rosary at 7 p.m., and at the church an hour before services Saturday.
