Eugene B. Wadleigh, 63, N8557 Sunset Beach Rd., Beaver Dam, died Thursday, July 6, 1989, at the Continental Manor in Randolph. The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Monday from the Briese Roedl Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Kuester officiating.

Mr. Wadleigh was born on Sept. 19, 1925, in Beaver Dam, the son of Burton and Marie (Schlolovicz) Wadleigh. He was married to Jean Ptaschinski Yasger on Nov. 7, 1970. He had served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was employed at the Green Giant Co. for 44 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the John E. Miller Post 146 American Legion.

Survivors include his wife; one step-daughter, Mary Beth Heimerl, Beaver Dam; two step-grandchildren; one sister, Beverly (Ronald) Schuster, Beaver Dam; one brother, Virgil (Sandy) Wadleigh, Clintonville, Wis.; two nieces, two aunts, one uncle, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the Briese Roedl Weber Funeral Home.
