Ozaukee Press, Thurs. July 24, 1980, p. 20, c. 1. A former Fredonia resident and 1968 graduate of Ozaukee High School, Marcia J. Ziehr Brody, 30 of Evergreen Park, Ill. died on July 19 following an automobile accident in the Town of Port Washington. Funeral services were held on Wed., July 23, at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fredonia. The Rev. David Seybold officiated at the service. Mrs. Brody was born in Port Washington on Feb. 23, 1950, the daughter of Claytus and Loraine Laubenstein Ziehr. She married Thomas Brody at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fredonia, on Apr. 28, 1979. Mrs. Brody is survived by her husband, Thomas, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claytus Ziehr, Fredonia, three brothers, David, Paul and Robert, all of Fredonia and two sisters, Mrs. Randy (Linda) Peiffer of Fredonia, and Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Jackson of Grafton. Memorials to St. John’s Church candelabra fund would be appreciated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Horn-Ernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington handled the arrangements for the family.
