Beilfuss, Arthur #2 (16 MAR 1879 - 8 DEC 1949)

Funeral services were conducted for Arthur Beilfuss, 70, from the Griebenow Funeral Parlors, Sunday Dec. 11th, with Dr. K. O. Crosby officiating. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harry Thorson, Emil A. Hansen, James Boylan, Fred Scherf, Louis Walsdorf and Sabin Scherf.

Death came to him at Emergency Hospital, Milwaukee, shortly after he had been admitted on Dec. 8th, 1949. He succumbed to coronary thrombosis. He was born on march 16, 1879 at Reed City, Mich. Up until 20 years ago he and his father operated a farm just north of the village limits of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). Since leaving this community he has resided at the Republican House in Milwaukee, where up until his death he had served as manager of a branch post office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A graduate of the Thorp High School he then entered the Oshkosh Business College to prepare himself for his future life.

Mourning his death are two brothers, Walter, Neillsville and Carl of Withee; two daughters, Mrs. Orvilla Kessler, Madison and Mrs. Charles Bechtel, Delafield, Wis., and a granddaughter, Yvonne Kessler of Madison. His father preceded him in death on Nov. 11, 1948.
