During the time they were married her husband made such films as "Beyond the Rainbow" (1922) Clara Bow's first film); "Jane Eyre" (1934); "The Outcasts of Poker Flat" (1937); and "Scared to Death" (1944) with Bela Lugosi. Her husband died of a heart attack in 1950.
