She was born August 16, 1928 to the late David and Ottilia Hopp in Port Huron.
She married George D. McDougal on March 31, 1951 in Detroit. He died May 4, 1996
She loved seeing her children and grandchildren grow up and enjoyed sharing special times with family and friends at her home on the Black River. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Mrs. McDougal is survived by six daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Gerald (Elizabeth A.) Sweet, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis (Patricia) Lawrence, Mary L. McDougal, Sheila I. McDougal, all of Port Huron, Marcia L. McDougal of West Vancouver, British Columbia and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse (Judith) Sly of Ohio; two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Brian J. (Barbara) McDougal and Mr. and Mrs. Michael G. (Pamela) McDougal, all of Port Huron; fourteen grandchildren; a great grandson; sisters, Marie Leach of Marysville, Louise Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald (Betty Ruth) Graw, Mr. and Mrs. James (Patricia) DiMoff, Judith Taylor, all of Port Huron, and Mr. and Mrs. William (Lydia) Konowal of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Reinhardt (Barbara) Hopp, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick (Bonnie) Hopp, all of Port Huron and Mr. and Mrs. David (Rose) Hopp of Marysville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2004 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Keith A. Sparks of First Church of the Nazarene will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township.
Pallbearers will be Tim and Claude Lawrence, Jeremie Sly, Brian, Brad and Rob McDougal.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
