Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Church of Christ with Tom Anderson officiating and Mark Lance assisting. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis by Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis.
Daniel was born Sept. 29, 1936, in Denver to the late Lewis Koepke and Creola Barta Koepke. He was a graduate of Deer Trail High School.
He married Norma Jean Kontour on Aug. 10, 1958, in Deer Trail, Colo. She preceded him in death on Oct. 18, 2006.
Daniel worked as a master welder and served on the volunteer fire department in Deer Trail. He also served as a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Deer Trail. He moved to Memphis in 2003 from Deer Trail.
Daniel was a member of the Church of Christ in Memphis.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn Koepke and wife Leslie of Dameron Valley, Utah, and Wade Koepke and wife Lisa of Lakeview; a daughter, Leann Voyles and husband Bruce of Vega; two brothers, Jerry Koepke and wife Betty of Ashby, Neb., and Rod Koepke and wife Kathleen of Matheson, Colo.; eight grandchildren, Kurtis Koepke and wife Becki, Bradley Koepke and wife Ashley, Susan Session and husband Jared, Walt Koepke, Luke Koepke, Wyatt Voyles, Ben Koepke and Walker Voyles; and two great-grandchildren, Bryson Session and Braylee Koepke.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Church of Christ Benevolence Fund, 1625 N. 18th St., Memphis, TX 79245.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home in Memphis.
