Mrs. Sander, the daughter of William Beste and his wife Teresa, nee Strubberg, was born Oct. 18, 1936, at Clover Bottom.

She was united in marriage to Edgar Sander at St. Gertrude Church, Krakow.

Mrs. Sander was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Hummingbird Club, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the Eagles Club in Pacific. She also was a member of St. Francis Borgia Parish.

Mrs. Sander was a homemaker and she was previously employed at Wonder Maid.

Mrs. Sander was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on May 14, 1994; three brothers, Harold Beste, Henry Beste and infant William Beste; and one sister, Theresa Beste.

She is survived by three sons, Kevin Sander and special friend Kellie, St. Louis, Keith Sander and Kenneth Sander, both of Washington; one daughter, Karen Sander, Warrenton; two brothers, Dennis Beste and wife Lori, Union, and Ronald Beste and wife Chris, Washington; five sisters, Mabel Scego and husband Dan, Union, Dorothy Bonnarens and husband John and Rosemary Beste, all of Krakow, Shirley Wade, St. Louis, and Doris Baecker and husband Delmar, Hermann; two grandchildren, Tyler and Dakota; two brothers-in-law, Albert Sander, Peers, and Vincent Sander and wife Irene, Overland; two sisters-in-law, Mercedes "Toots" Emke and husband Norman, Washington, and Marian Sickmann and husband Ralph, Lake Saint Louis; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, Aug. 8, at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington. Celebrant was the Rev. Jack Costello.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

Memorials to the family are preferred.
