Services for Marie A. Wrick, 93, Wausa, were Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Golgotha Lutheran Church; she died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at Wausa Healthcare Center. The daughter of William and Mathilda (Rathjen) Burhman was born Nov. 30, 1906, on a farm near Creighton.
She married Albert Wrick on Sept. 8, 1926. The couple moved from their farm to Wausa in 1962. She was employed as nurse's aide at Valley View Nursing Home for 12 years, retiring in 1974. She had been a resident of the Wausa Nursing Center for the past four years.
She was survived by 4 daughters and their husbands, 1 son and his wife, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 son-in-law, 2 brothers, 25 grandchildren, and 52 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one son, one sister, one brother and three great-grandchildren
