Mr. Jesse Lee Briney, 60, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Saint Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.

Mr. Briney was born in Pocahontas, AR., on February 16, 1951. He was a retired superintendent at Reason's Construction Company.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by three daughters Lisa and husband Billy Pugh of Corning, AR., Kim and husband Aaron Roark of Corning, AR., Jessica Briney of Corning, AR.; four brothers Donnie Briney of Corning, AR., Jerry Briney of Harviell, MO., Jimmy Briney of Corning, AR., Teddy Briney of Corning, AR.; three sisters Linda Nanner of Harviell, MO., Judy Woods of Success, AR., Shelby Colbert of Corning, AR.; four grandchildren Tyler and Gunner Pugh, Ashley and Ryan Roark; special friends Steve and Debbie Flowers.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Syble (Wallace) Briney; and brother Junior Briney.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Flowers officiating.

Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
