FLAD. James Michael Flad, 50, of Glastonbury, husband of Eleanor (Kanicsar) died (Feb. 1, 1997) at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. He was born in Norristown, PA. and had resided in Glastonbury, since 1984. He was a self employed Insurance Broker. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons and one daughter-in-law Kevin and Monica of New Jersey, Jeffrey, Timothy, and Benjamin all of Glastonbury; one daughter Katrina of Glastonbury, one brother Andrew of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Marjorie, Maryellen, and Loretta, all of PA.; his mother Eleanor of PA., and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 9:15 a.m. at the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in St. Augustine's Church, South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Neipsic Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.
