Mr. Bever, a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Lagro, died at 7:44 p.m. Oct. 7 in Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne. A lifetime resident of Wabash County, he had been employed as a farmer and a substitute mail carrier in Lagro.
Born March 10, 1899, in Wabash County to John Bever and Elizabeth (McGuire) Bever, he married Delma F. Frank in Lagro on feb. 14, 1925. She preceded him in death in February of 1976.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Bonnie L.) Kelly, Lagro, one brother, Leo Bever, Lagro, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Burial was in the Falls Cemetery, and preferred memorials are to the donor's choice of charity.
