Pastor Gerald Christopherson and Chaplain Herbert Cleveland will conduct the rites, with burial in Bear Butte Cemetery under direction of Kincade Funeral Chapel.
A memorial has been established to Grace Lutheran Church, where she was a member, at one time a deaconess and a member of American Lutheran Church Women. She was also a member of Rebekah Lodge and had served as a gray lady at Fort Meade Veterans Administration Hospital.
Mrs. Brown was born Sept. 8, 1891, at Elmwood, Neb., and was married to Nelson A. Brown Jan. 7, 1914, at Anoka, Neb. They moved to Scotland, S.D., lived there several years before moving to Lake Andes and later to Winner. They moved to Sturgis in 1939.
Surviving are a son, Ivan Brown, Sturgis; two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Elbert Davis, Morrill, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, on Dec. 25, 1960, three brothers and one sister.
