Curtis "Curt" Warren Neal, 40, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2002 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital, Spartanburg, South Carolina, after a brief illness.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, on Saturday, September 30, 1961, he was the son of Shirley Ann (Morris) West of Campobello, SC, and the late Billy Elbert Neal, Sr. (1936-1993). He was the husband of Jennifer (Millwood) Neal.
He worked as a painter and was a Methodist.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother and two sisters: Pam Howell, of Moore, SC, Robin Michelle Roberson, of Boiling Springs, SC; one step-sister: Darlene West Hill of Spartanburg; two brothers: Billy Neal, Jr., and Tommy Carey, both of Spartanburg; nieces and nephews include Lauren, Cory, and Austin Howell of Moore and Savannah Roberson of Boiling Springs. He is also survived by his stepfather: Chris West of Campobello and his maternal grandmother, Ada Gilley of Columbia, SC.
Funeral services were held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2 PM on Friday, November 30, 2001 with Rev. Steve Pickel officiating.
Interment was at Inman Cemetery, Inman, SC.
Serving as pallbearers were John Harvey, Ritchie Wilkie, Richard Hinkle, Dale Hudson, Jonathan Lake, and Mark Bedenbaugh.
