LESTER K. FULLER, JR., passed away August 8, 2011, following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Bryan,Texas on June 29, 1925, he resided in League City, Texas. Lester is survived by his wife of 67 years Marian Bauer-Fuller, son, Lester Nelson Fuller and wife Connie of Liberty Hill, Texas; daughter, Andrea Donette Fuller Dickerson and husband Ronald Joe of League City; grandchildren, Kittye Frances Dickerson Trevino and husband Mark of Friendswood; Stacy Leanne Fuller Curtis and husband James of Austin; Kelly Jo Dickerson Burns and husband Wendell of League City; and Lester Antone Fuller of Austin; great grandchildren , Morgan Ellen Burns and Callen Thomas Burns, Victoria Rae Trevino and Olivia Grace Trevino; Cody Shane Curtis, Hayley Jewel Curtis, and Ryan James Curtis; sisters, Louise Abbott Dickey and husband Earl of Dickinson; Charlene Jones and husband Elwin of Malad City, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lester was formerly active in the Galveston County Democratic Party, President of IUOE Local #347, held various boards in the Methodist Church, School Board Trustee of CCISD, member of the League City Volunteer Fire Department, member of League City Lion's Club, member of Masonic Lodge of League City, and the Scottish Rite of Galveston.
A visitation will begin on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 5-8:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas 77573. A funeral service will follow on Friday at 10:00am at Crowder Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Harrison officiating. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in League City, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Lynn Watkins, Rick Atchison, Brent Vaughter, Roy Halle, Mark Harrell, and Dean Glenn.
