Hattie A. (née Braeges) Neuman, 78, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday (Nov. 9, 1977) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Germany, she had been a resident of the Tonawandas for the past 70 years and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mrs. Neuman was the wife of Rudolph C. Neuman, who died in 1962, mother of Robert R. Neuman, who died in 1975 and Norma L. Howland, who died in 1976.
She is survived by two daughters, Miss Violet Neuman of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Alvin (Lois) Dreier of Tonawanda; a son, Howard (Patricia) Neuman of the Town of Wheatfield; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Koepsel of Tonawanda and Mrs. Robert (Lucy) Corrigan of North Tonawanda; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, she was also the sister of the late Margaret Licht, William, Carl and Frederick Braeges.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Streets, Tonawanda. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda by the Rev. Donald H. Krompart. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
