"Carl Daniel Haberland, 68, of Lutz passed away July 10, 2011 at his home. He resided in Lutz for 35 years. He loved his family, friends and church family dearly. With his compassion and love for his fellow man, he was instrumental in the starting of the Helping Hands Pantry, a ministry of Atonement Lutheran Church. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, CJ and Lynn Haberland and daughter, Tawn Haberland. Survivors include his beloved wife, Carla Haberland; son, Shawn and daughter in law, Angela Haberland; grandchildren, Dillon, Tawn, and Logan all of Ashburn, Va; stepsons, Rick and Jeff Halsaver and their families all of Va; sister-in-laws Gloria (John) Leto, Twila (Michael) Gonzalez and Brenda Harville (Dale Brown); niece, Alisa Gonzalez; nephew, Eric Gonzalez; Thom Cruez, who was like a son; aunts, uncles and many cousins. A memorial to celebrate his promotion to the Lord will be held 2:00 pm July 31st at Atonement Lutheran Church, 29617 SR54, Wesley Chapel. This will be a combination service with his father, CJ who passed away May 24, 2011."
