Bartelt Services Set for Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. John Bartelt, 65 years old, will be held Thursday at 1:30 from the residence in the town of Washington at White Clay Lake Lutheran church at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. F. C. Benecke. Mrs. Bartelt died early Monday morning at the farm home in the town of Washington.

Pallbearers will be William Fischer, Charles Matthews, John Fischer, Harry Bahr, Herbert Bahr and Chris Fischer. Friends may call at the residence from this afternoon at 4 o'clock until the hour of services. The Bocher Funeral Home of Cecil is in charge.

Louise Bahr was born October 3, 1883, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bahr. She spent her entire lifetime in the town of Washington. She was married December 5, 1901, at White Clay Lake Lutheran church to John Bartelt. Survivors include her husband, two sons, Robert and Ervin of the town of Washington; a daughter, Viola, Mrs. Clarence Lemke of Cecil. One daughter, Esther, died in 1940. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. August Fischer of Underhill and Mrs. Anna Fischer of Cecil, and one brother, Herman Bahr, also of Cecil.
